Would Have Been Terrific...

Loved the book. Really wished they'd make it into a film. They were all set to. Roman Polanski was set to direct. Scarlett Johansson was rumoured to be cast. All was well. Now this. The book is great fun, totally visual, exciting, unputdownable etc. Hope this doesn't mean it's dead in the water.
